Camp Blue Ridge

Camp Blue Ridge, nestled in the quiet Blue Ridge Mountains of Montebello, Virginia, is a year-round retreat center with a mission to reconnect the created with their Creator. We are owned by the Potomac Conference of Seventh-day Adventist and operated through the Youth Department.

For years kids have come to CBR for the experience of summer camp, which runs from mid-June through the end of July. They take home memories that last a lifetime. Often campers choose to return as staff, having so enjoyed their time spent here as children. The wonders of nature found within th

e grounds of CBR are a silent witness to the awesomeness of our God. The call of the birds, the rustle of the leaves and the whisper of the breeze all attest to the nearness of Him who seeks each heart. Every night as His handiwork is displayed in the canvas of sky surrounding the setting sun, you will stand in awe of His greatness.

And since spiritual growth is so closely hinged to our physical health, you will find a wide variety of recreational activities. Depending upon the season, we offer swimming, canoeing, volleyball, basketball, softball, soccer, horseshoes and go-karts. There are trails perfect for hiking that run all over the 500+ acres of ground that make up Camp Blue Ridge. So whether the forest is shrouded in vibrant green or the leaves crunch under your boots as you walk beneath a canopy of fall foliage, the trails are there for you to explore.

We are located just off the Blue Ridge Parkway, which winds majestically through the mountains offering breathtaking views. Spy Rock and Crabtree Falls are also in close proximity to the camp.
