We also host a summer youth camp each year from June to July. Camp Blue Ridge is owned by the Potomac Conference of Seventh-day Adventists and operated through the Youth Department. For years kids have known that Camp Blue Ridge is a great place to be. Now grown-ups agree. Visiting camp is not a mere vacation or outing. It is an uplifting experience for the body, mind and the spirit, with the ultimate purpose of developing the individual as a whole. Nestled in the quiet Blue Ridge Mountains of Montebello, Virginia, Camp Blue Ridge is the perfect place to direct a seminar, conduct a staff retreat, hold a church outing, or relax on a family vacation. Camp Blue Ridge offers a retreat away from the clamor made by man in the cities. It is here that God speaks directly to our hearts through the beauty of His creation. The songs of the birds, the beauty of the sunset, and the whisper of the breeze help to make the voice of God more audible in camp than in any other place. Camp Blue Ridge is designed to give each person time to be still and know their God. We offer a variety of activities, in season, such as Go- Karts, swimming, hiking, canoeing, volleyball, basketball, softball, and horseshoes. We are located just off of the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway that winds its way through the mountains and has many magnificent overlooks and picnic spots. Also located nearby are Spy Rock and Crab Tree Falls. Both are interesting places to hike and picnic and offer breathtaking views.
